Resident Stourport, Worcestershire, enlisted Worcester.

George was the son of Mr and Mrs W. Large of Stourport. Formerly employed at Stourport Iron Foundry, he was killed in action after two years service.  The officer commanding his battery wrote €œA very promising N.C.O. and a gallant gentleman€.
