THIS MONUMENT WAS ERECTED IN 1923
AT THE SPRINGFIELD BREWERY OF
WILLIAM BUTLER & CO, WOLVERHAMPTON
AS A MEMORIAL TO THOSE EMPLOYEES WHO
SERVED AND FELL IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR.
A SECOND WORLD WAR ROLL OF HONOUR
WAS ADDED IN 1949.
IT WAS MOVED TO
THE TERRITORIAL ARMY CENTRE
AT FALLINGS PARK, WOLVERHAMPTON IN 1997.

THIS MONUMENT WAS RELOCATED
TO ITS PRESENT SITE AT THE MUSEUM
WITH THE KIND ASSISTANCE OF THE
FOURTH BATTALION OF THE MERCIAN REGIMENT
THE WEST MIDLANDS RESERVE FORCES
AND CADETS ASSOCIATION.
REDEDICATED ON THE 27TH MARCH 2010
