William Henn landed in France and Flanders, post 31st December 1915 as part of the 100th Brigade, 33rd Division. His Batttalion defended Neuve Eglise then Hill 70 near Dranoutre. He was picked up by the advancing German forces and taken to their Field hospital where he died of wounds a week or two later.
