Private C. Freeman, No 37861, of the Gloucestershire Regt. (attached to the Worcesters) has been missing since the fighting of 8 May this year. He is the son of Mrs Freeman, of 5 Marsden road, Redditch, who would be pleased to receive news of him from any comrade or member of his regiment.

On the 1911 census Charles Freeman aged 15, worked in a cycle works and lived with his parents Benjamin and Elizabeth Freeman and his siblings at 5 Marsden Road, Redditch.
