Alfred Frank Cropper, occupation: soldier, resident Military Hospital, Colchester (entered in the register), died in the Military Hospital, Colchester. He was buried in Astwood Cemetery on 28th February 1916, aged 26 years, Dissenter. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend C.H. Gough.

Alfred Cropper was born in Worcester in 1889. In 1901 he was living with his parents and 2 younger sisters at 3 Spa Gardens East in the parish of St Peter, Worcester. He married Jessie Day in 1913 and they had two daughters, Norah born in 1914 and Gladys E. born in 1915.
