The following report appears in Berrow’s Worcester Journal, Saturday 20th July 1940:
Killed in Action
Mrs Camm, of Gravelly Hill, Tewkesbury Road, Birlingham, has heard officially that her husband, lance-Corporal William Henry Camm, of the Royal Berkshire Regiment, has been killed in action.
Lance-Cpl. Camm was a Reservist who served seven years in the Regular Army, and went to France in the early days of the war. He was 30 years of age and is survived by his widow and one daughter. He was formerly employed by Messrs. Perks Bros., builders and contractors, of Eckington and Pershore.
