FOUR PERSHORE GUARDSMEN
When last Springtime, Raymond Buckingham, youngest son of Mr and Mrs E.A. Buckingham, of Broad Street, Pershore, voluntarily joined the colours, he completed the number of male members of the family belonging to the famous Guards’ Regiments, his three brothers being non-commissioned officers.
…….Corporal Ronald Buckingham, with five years’ service, has experienced exciting times in North Africa. All have fine physique, and each is over six feet, their aggregate height measuring 29 and a half feet.
The report includes photographs of all four brothers.
