Privates C., F. and W. Ashburner all appear on two memorials in Worcester. Their photographs appear in the Berrow’s Worcester Journal Supplement of 17th November 1917 along with their father. The brothers were all in the Worcestershire Regiment and all were killed. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) has no information under this surname. However, Privates C., F. and W. Ashbourne, all Worcestershire Regiment are found on the CWGC database. It is most likely that these are the correct casualties.
